Important FIMUN information

Hi FIMUNners! We are a few days out from the conference, and I (Alex) want to make sure we touch base on a few things before Wednesday's conference logistics meeting.

1. If you have not attended an overnight MUN conference before: I will be running a training of everything you need to know in Ms Condiotte's room this Tuesday (2/20) starting at 1:15. If you feel like you have gaps in your knowledge (which if you only attended PythonMUN or if you've never been to a conference at ALL, you do) then I really encourage you to go. If you can't make it and still want to chat and get some answers to questions, myself or any of our officers would be glad to help. The onus is on you to get out there and ask for help!

2. Position papers are due tomorrow (2/19) by 5pm. It's not an internal deadline; it's the deadline FIMUN established for awards eligibility. Position papers must be submitted directly to fimun@fiu.edu and CCd to aanacki@gmail.com with the subject line "COUNTRY NAME – COMMITTEE NAME POSITION PAPER" with size 12 font and 1.5 spacing. If you don't adhere to that font and spacing I won't be particularly bothered, but that's the criteria FIMUN established. If you're still looking for edits on your paper today, reach out to Shelly by the end of the day -- don't do that tomorrow because that's just bad. Reminder that crisis delegates do not need to write papers, but should still read BGs and prep accordingly. Reach out to Park if you have any questions on crisis. 

3. Prepare well. That means a good research binder that was not compiled just the night before!
