PythonMUN is Pine View's student-run training conference held directly on campus. It will help you train and become as familiar with MUN as you can actually be, in a real simulation rather than through our weekly meetings. 1 crisis committee and 3 assembly committees are offered, and there are opportunities for everyone to find something in which they are interested in. If you are a novice, you must attend PythonMUN in order to attend GatorMUN.

Registration is open to all 9th and 10th graders, regardless of experience level. Prior to registering, please take note of the refund policy in order to garner a sense of what our conference drop/refund policies are, and what you need to do to be prepared for this conference.

Date: November 17th

Cost: $50

Registration: November 2nd

Payment: November 7th

Position papers: November 14th

Refund and Drop Policy

All payments received on time may be fully or partially refunded with at least a 8 day notice. Failure to notify the Logistics Coordinator before the 8 day period in advance of a conference may result in the inability to refund. Cancellations with less than 8 days to the conference date will not receive refunds. Please plan accordingly and submit payments only if you are committed to going and acknowledge the refund policy.

All drops must be reported to Kris Selberg. He can be contacted here.

Financial Aid

It is our goal that all delegates are able to afford conferences. Conference costs may be partially or fully subsidized. Students must fill out this form and submit it by November 7th. Late forms will not be accepted.

Read more about our committees here. Please refer to this matrix to request countries. Crisis positions are available in the background guide.

Please do not request the same committee twice. If you want to put multiple country requests in for one committee, format it like: WHO/Australia, United States, Canada.
